Obituary of Mark Wayne Bowers Sr.

Mark Wayne Bowers, 70, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on April 13, 2023 at Alden Estates of Jefferson, WI after a courageous battle with lung cancer.

Mark was born on January 8, 1953 to Ralph and Mary Evelyn Bowers in Frederick, MD. After graduating from Linganore High School in 1971, Mark worked at Carmack’s grocery store until he started dairy farming in 1983, where he had a great love of cows and farming the land.

Mark was predeceased by his wife of 42 years, Kathy Lynn (Fouche) Bowers who passed on Friday, March 18, 2016. He is survived by his daughters, Kerri Jean Bowers and Korinna Billie Bowers, his son, Mark Wayne Bowers Jr and his granddaughter, Kaylynn Marie Bowers.

Contributions in memory of Mark can be made to his favorite charity, Habitat For Humanity.

A celebration of life will take place at 12PM on July 1, 2023 at River Front Park (In the South Shelter) 601 S. Wisconsin Dr. Jefferson WI, 53549
