Obituary of John Amundson

Amundson, John �Jay� � May 31, 2013 John �Jay� Amundson, age 53, passed away at Waukesha Memorial Hospital on May 31, 2013. Jay was born and raised in Fort Atkinson, WI (class of 77), graduated Magna cum Laude with a BS in Math/Physics from UW- Whitewater, and earned a Masters Degree in Nuclear Engineering at UW-Madison. He was employed as a manager for many years at AT&T/Amdocs. Jay was passionate about art, music, books, battleships and his family Jay was the loving father of Kirstin, and beloved partner of Naomi Lancour. Jay is also survived by his father John �Jack� (Connie) Amundson; his mother Jacqueline Jensen Amundson (Dean Zweifel); sisters: Jill (Brian), Erin (John) and Megan (Mark); step-brother Steve (Morgan) Templar; Kirstin�s mother Sheila Collins, step-children Elisabeth and Adrian Arlt; niece Natasha; his uncles and aunts: Dale (Shirley) Jensen, Dawn (Laverne) Weckler, Jeri (DeLane) Gjertson, Robin (John) Blackstone and Leslie Phelps, and many other relatives and friends. Friends and family are invited to a Visitation on Saturday June 29, 2013 from 1-4 pm, with a Memorial Service at 2 pm.
