Marilyn, I just found this notice on my phone. My husband, Bill, and I are in NC visiting our daughter & family. We have many places to stop b/4 we come to Fort for the reunion, God willing. I will be looking fwd to seeing you and giving you a big hug. I am so sorry to hear about the death of your wonderful husband. Sounds like you both were so blessed by your children & grchildren. Loved by so many! The sun has set on your beloved husband's earthly life. But for us Christians, death is not the end. It's just the beginning of our new eternal life with Jesus, our Savior, who made it all possible with his death on the cross, all b/c of His great love for us! You will always have John close to you in your heart and in pictures. May God's comfort and peace be with you. Prayers for you & your family. Lois Krafft

Nat and I were very fortunate to have John as a big part of our lives for several years. The loving bond he created with Nat, Jake, and Grace, as well as, all of his grandchildren, was very special, and will never be forgotten. We will miss him dearly.
God bless you and Rest In Peace, Sir.
Love, Brian and Nat

Dear Vickie and family~
What a wonderful obituary and such a lovely tribute to a life well lived.
He will still be at all of his grandchildrens sports and activities. In fact, he will have the very best seat in the house.
Love and warm thoughts sent to all of you as you grieve his passing but remember (and celebrate) his life.

The word I always relate to Uncle John is "vibrant." His presence was always known, especially when it came to family. Whether it was a smile or a hug, you could always feel his love. Our condolences to his best gal, Marilyn, and the entire family. We will see you at services. Just want you to know our hearts are with you and our prayers abundant at this difficult time.
Love, Vinny and Mary
