Rosie,
Sorry to hear that you lost your husband and best friend. EVERYONE knew George. He always had a hello and quick wit comment for everyone he crossed paths with. I knew George since I was a kid and he never seemed to age so it seems odd that he could have left us. But, he will always be remembered and that's something for you to be very proud of. My sympathies to you and your family.

Mike remembers since he was about 5 going fishing with george. He had the biggest heart. He happened to have seen mike and elliannah at the gas station in Cambridge and he gave elliannah the fishing pole he used to take mike fishing with. A lot of memories were made. You will be deeply missed george.

I worked with George in the shipping department at Melster Candies for a few years. He was always laughing and joking around. Whenever I would drive past his house and see his white van, I would smile at the memories he gave me. He made me smile everyday and I was so saddened to hear of his passing. My deepest sympathy is with his family and friends during this difficult time.

Great memories of fishing and lots of candy as a young man. He will be missed by many but is alive within all of us. Thank you uncle George, for what you taught me as a boy that I now carry with me as a man.
