Obituary of Paula Louise Vasby

Paula Vasby, age 62, of Cambridge died peacefully at her home Wednesday, November 11, 2009 after an eight month battle with brain cancer. She was born September 2,�1947 �in Omaha, Nebraska the daughter of James and Nina (Burwell) Westfall. Paula graduated from Benson High School in 1965, and then majored in French at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. She married Philip Vasby on March 21, 1970 in LaGrange, Illinois. Together they moved to Cambridge in 1972. Paula worked for Prange�s Department Store in Madison, and later Bank of Cambridge before joining Vasby Farms Inc. She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church where she was active in the choir and worship committee. She is survived by her husband Phil of Cambridge. Son: Joshua Vasby of Portland, Oregon Daughter: Jenna (Ryan) Ellickson of Cambridge Daughter: Chlo� Vasby of Cambridge 2 Grandchildren: Haley and Nicholas Ellickson Parents: Mr. and Mrs. James Westfall of Arizona Brother: Robert Westfall of Arizona Sister: Barbara (Stephen) Veitch of Arizona Also survived by many other relatives and friends Memorial Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at Grace Lutheran Church in Cambridge with Rev.
