To the Family of Mark:
I first met Mark when I was a graduate student at the University of Wisconsin Whitewater. I lived across the street from him on North Main Street. We had a lot of brief talks and I bought my first life insurance policy from Mark. He enjoyed working and living in Fort Atkinson, and I found him to be an honest, trustworthy man. I am happy to have known Mark, and know that his life touched and improved the lives of countless people.

Great sympathy and condolences to Mark's family. As a high school classmate and adult friend I will remember his great smile and energetic attitude. I will also remember him on his big wheel in some the parades we both showed up for. What a great spirit..I am very sorry that he has left us at this early age...
God Rest you Mark!

Dear family members,
My very deepest sympathies to you as you grieve your loss. In his quiet and steadfast way, Mark worked to make things better for all. Mark gave so much to Fort Atkinson. As a library board member, he was incredibly thoughtful and engaged. It was a pleasure to work with him. As a Rotarian, he was always interested in ways he could live our motto of "service above self." I am so glad to have known such a great man.
