My dear Aunt Ruthie was a wonderful woman. When I think of her visiting in the summers when I was a child I recall her standing so tall, looking very stylish and always so gentle. She was the epitome of a good Christian woman. My Mom; her sister Bonnie, visited her in the summers for several years and I joined them one summer a few years ago. I have great memories of that summer and I am so happy that I got to spend this time with them! I also met her friends Barb & "Mack" who were very special to her. Like my cousin Linda, I too recall all the letters and cards that were exchanged with Aunt Ruthie, the last one I sent to her a few weeks prior included a small calendar page of a little girl in the country reaching into a mailbox for a letter, the date was her birthday-March 25.
God Bless you Aunt Ruthie, Love Pati

I always loved to receive a letter from Aunt Ruthie. She was so proud of her children and grandchildren. We use to write to each other just about every month. When my Dad (Calvin) was alive he would be so happy when he also received a letter, we would share our letters all the time. She use to cut out articles from her newspaper and send them to Dad. My thoughts and Prayers are with you all. RIP Auntie.
