Obituary of Genevieve Lorraine Bailie

Genevieve Lorraine Bailie, age 85, of Kenosha, Wisconsin died on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Brookside Care Center in Kenosha. She was born on September 29, 1927 in Frog Creek, WI to Harry and Florence (Buchman) Johnson. On June 6, 1949 she married Royal Bailie in Marshall, WI. Genevieve attended Miltonvale Wesleyan College in Miltonvale, Kansas. Genevieve was active in Ministry along with her husband, Rev. Royal Bailie, in the church and community where they lived; Cambridge, WI; Milwaukee, WI; Evanston, IL; Waukegen, IL; Winona Lake, IN; Indianapolis, IN; and Brooksville, FL where they were a part of the Wesleyan Village Retirement Community. Surviving are 3 sons: Ronald (Ivy) Bailie, of Fosston, MN, Rod (Karen) Bailie, of Pleasant Prairie, and Mark (Deborah) Bailie, of Oregon City, OR; daughter: Marsha (Phil) Bailie Graver, of Round Lake, IL; sister: LaVon (Ralph) Sivertsen, Cambridge; brother: Rev. Orland (Erma Jean) Johnson, AL; brother-in-law: Rev. Donald Berry, Rice Lake; 11 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, other relatives and friends. Genevieve was preceded in death by her husband, and sister, Beatrice Berry. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at 11am at Willerup United Methodist Church, Cambridge, WI. Visitation will be on Friday, January 18 from 6-8pm at Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, and on Saturday from 10am until the time of service at the church.
