Our hearts go out to the family at this time. I remember Gen always making me feel welcome in your home. I can still smell the fresh dinner rolls. She was a wonderful example of a Christ-like servant. I know she will be missed by many here, even as she is rejoicing in the presence of Jesus. Love to you all,
Tim and Elizabeth

Gen and Royal modeled excellence in committed Christian marriage, parenting, and ministry. As friends. encouragers, mentors, and leaders, they nurtured growth in interpersonal relationships as well as in following Jesus. Gen's heart for women's development enriched the lives of hundreds. Her legacy includes demonstrating love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control--a woman of God.

Our love & prayers are with you at this time of loss. Rev. Royal & Gen. pastored the Valton Wesleyan Metbodist in the late 50s. I was a teenage and remember both with great fondness. And too, we enjoyed the ministry of Royal & Gen in the NCC of the Free Methodist Church. Gen was a wonderful lady and a fine example of the Christian faith. May the God of grace & mercy, bless and sustain.
