Obituary of Bernd Edgar Rohrpasser

Bernd Edgar Rohrpasser, 85, Fort Atkinson passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Center in Johnson Creek, WI.

Bernie was born on December 5, 1938, in Riga Latvia to Nicklai and Tamara (Herrman) Rohrpasser.  He came to America with his mother when he was 14 years old and became a United States citizen. He served his country in the United States Army. Bernie married Jeanette Boehnlein on March 29, 1985, in Brookfield, WI.  He was employed as a Railroad Engineer for 31 years.  Bernie and Jeanette owned and operated the Rose Gallery in Lake Mills for 17 years.  He was known as the “fix it guy” around the area. 

He is survived by his wife Jeanette of Fort Atkinson; children Kathleen, Gina Marie, Nicklai, Sandra and Anthony; many grandchildren.  He was preceded in death by his father who died during WWII, his mother Tamara and, sister Beatrice.
