Obituary of Richard W Bauer
Richard (Rick) William Bauer, 55, of Cambridge, Wisconsin passed away peacefully on December 25, 2023, after a courageous battle with cancer.
A child born on New Year’s Day and passed away on Christmas Day was special in so many ways. Rick faced demons, but his heart was filled with gold. He was a beautiful person inside and out. His mischievous smile would light up a room. He was a friend to everyone he met. He cared so deeply for the people around him. He was so kind and caring. He made an impact on so many lives. Gentle in spirit, quick witted and he had an amazing sense of humor. He will be missed forever.
For many years, Rick worked at the Kohl Center in Madison. It was the perfect job for someone who loved all sports as much as he did.
Rick loved listening to music and going to concerts. He enjoyed sports and he followed the Green Bay Packers, Wisconsin Badgers, Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Bucks. He had an extensive collection of baseball cards, and he spent hours organizing his cards. He was an avid road tripper. He had great stories about knowing Chris Farley. He was also a proud friend of Bill W.
