Obituary of Susan Lynd

Susan Marie Lynd, 56, Janesville passed away on Friday June 23, 2023 peacefully at home surrounded by her family.  

Susan was born on March 1, 1967 to Patsy (Holland) and Duane Cox in Fort Atkinson, WI. Susan grew up on a farm located in Whitewater, Wisconsin. She attended Whitewater High School until her Sophomore year where she then attended Orfordville High School until her graduation in 1985. 

On September 7, 1985 she married her high school sweetheart Don Lynd at United Congregational Church Of Christ in Whitewater, Wisconsin.  

Susan enjoyed spending time with her family, photo taking, fishing, riding ATV’s, camping, dancing, bowling, horseback riding, and of course the Green Bay Packers. 

She is survived by her husband, Don Lynd, Children; Christopher (Landin) Lynd, Joshua (Amy) Lynd, and Heather (Nick Stuckey) Lynd, Grandchildren; Avalyn, Jacob, Ashley, James, and Baby Stuckey, Brothers; Walter (Tammy) Cox, and Gerald (Toni) Cox, and many other relatives, cousins, and friends.  

Susan is preceded in death by her father and mother, Duane and Patsy Cox.  

A Funeral Service will take place at 1pm on Friday, June 30, 2023 at Nitardy Funeral Home in Whitewater. Visitation will be held from 11am until the time of the service.  

Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery in Whitewater WI.  

In lieu of flowers any donations made will be used to offset the funeral costs.
