Obituary of Robert L. Kyle

Robert (Bob) L. Kyle, 78,  passed away peacefully at his home in Fort Atkinson on Monday, June 5th, 2023, surrounded by his family.

Bob was born on October 7th, 1944, at Fort Atkinson Hospital, the son of Robert and Elsie Kyle. Bob met his true love, Patricia J. Kyle, at King Pin Lanes where they bartended together. On December 20th, 1975, they were joined in marriage at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater, WI. Bob worked at Jones Dairy Farm for 35 years and in his spare time ran his own carpet cleaning business.

He was the family handyman, an avid Nascar fan, loved to drive his corvette, Harley Davidson motorcycles and old hot rod cars. He also enjoyed traveling to Nascar races and New Smyrna Beach, Florida, to enjoy the sunshine.

Bob is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Robert Kyle of Fort Atkinson and Nicole (Joe) Mildenstein of Fort Atkinson; three grandchildren, Taylor Kyle, Autum Thiele, and Alyssa Mildenstein; sisters-in-law, many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elsie Kyle and his brother Richard (Dick) Kyle.

A visitation will be held at Nitardy Funeral Home in Fort Atkinson on Friday, June 9th, 2023, from 9am to 11am.  A memorial service will take place following visitation at 11am. A burial will take place immediately following services at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Atkinson.
