Obituary of Georgia Rae Timm

Georgia R. Timm, 74, of Fort Atkinson passed away on Tuesday January 3, 2023 at Rainbow Hospice Center in Johnson Creek.

Georgia was born on March 29, 1948 in Southern California.  She attended Chemeketa Community College in Oregon in 1992 with an associate degree in nursing.  For over 25 years, Georgia worked as a traveling nurse for various companies caring for patients in nursing homes, hospitals, prisons, and other establishments, but her main love was the ICU. 

She enjoyed fishing, camping, hiking with her sons, gardening, and beading.

Georgia is survived by her children, Stephen Pate, Scott Mills, Robert (Zabrina) Mills; grandchildren, Bryce Mills, Landon Krahn, Sophia Bock, Hayden Freeman, Stephen Pate Jr., Jessica Pate, Jacob Pate; siblings, Kelly Riley, Carol Graham, Ross Riley, Jeff Riley; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Roberta Jane Allen; and son, Mike Pate.

The family would like to give special thanks for the Rainbow Hospice Care Center staff for their exceptional care for Georgia.

Funeral services will take place at 11AM on Thursday, January 12, 2023 at Nitardy Funeral Home, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI 53538.  Visitation will take place from 9AM until the time of service.
