Obituary of Jerome Richard Perry

Jerome Richard Perry, age 75, of Cambridge, Wisconsin, passed away on Thursday, February 28, 2013, at Zilber Family Hospice Care in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. Jerome was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on October 27, 1937, the son of Jay Roland and Virgilia S. (Schneider) Perry. Jerome graduated from Messmer High School in Milwaukee in 1956. On April 11, 1959, Jerome married Joan Ann Wiza at Holy Redeemer Church in Milwaukee. Jerome was a loving, caring husband, father, and grandfather who loved to boat, golf, and fish with his family and friends. He will be heartily missed by all who knew him. Jerome was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church, Lake Ripley Country Club, a 4th degree Knight of Columbus, Air Weather Association, and served his country in the U.S. Air Force in Reykjavik, Iceland. Surviving are his children: Jay (Barbara) Perry, Janet (Craig) Kreuser, John (Rhonda) Perry, Joseph Perry, and Jeffrey (Tina) Perry, grandchildren: Kyle (Emily), Ashley, Jessica, Brooke, Colton, Dustin, Joe Jr., Shawn, Nathan, Heidi, Hannah, Aliyah, Josh, and Tyler, great-grandchild: Chase, and sister Corda (Perry) Barthlow. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 701 W. Water St., Cambridge, WI with Father Dave Timmerman celebrating. Following Mass, a luncheon will be held and the interment will be in St. John the Baptist Catholic Cemetery, Jefferson, WI. Friends and family may call from 9AM to 10:30AM on Saturday, March 9, 2013 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, Cambridge, WI. A special "Thank You" to the staff at Aurora Zilber Family Hospice Care Facility in Wauwatosa, WI for their loving care of Jerome during his stay there. Also, heartfelt thanks to all of St. Pius X parish members, Knights of Columbus, and friends who offered prayers and support for all of our family during Dad's battle with cancer. In lieu of flowers, Memorial's in Jerome's name may be made to the Aurora Zilber Family Hospice Care Facility. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI is assisting the family.
