Obituary of Duane Edward Vogel

Duane Edward Vogel, age 45, of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at the UW Hospital in Madison, WI. Duane was born on November 21, 1967 in Elkhorn, WI to Lyle R. and Stella (Emery) Vogel. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and driving his Ford truck. Surviving are his mother: Stella Vogel, Fort Atkinson, WI; 2 daughters: Brittany Vogel, Fort Atkinson, and Ashley Vogel, Watertown; granddaughter: Amalia; 2 sisters: Yvonne Bonsall, Marquette, MI and Pauline Schmitz, Green Bay, Wisconsin; 4 nephews: Brian, Justin, Evan, and Garrett; and special friend: Shirley Boyer. Duane was preceded in death by his father, Lyle R. Vogel, and brother, Steven Vogel, and several aunts, uncles and cousins Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 11:30am at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Fort Atkinson, with Rev. Michael Duncan officiating. Visitation will be on Wednesday from 10:30am until the time of service at the funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in the Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials given to the family will be appreciated and used towards funeral expenses.
