Obituary of Audrey Mary Brandenburg

Audrey Mary Brandenburg, age 83, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at Fairhaven in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Audrey was born in Milton, Wisconsin on November 3, 1929, the daughter of Bernard and Verna (Sharpe) Marquart. She graduated from Milton High School and attended Milton College for two years. On February 2, 1952, Audrey married Martin Brandenburg. Martin preceded her in death in January 2001. Audrey was a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. She was a former 4-H leader and was a good cook. Surviving are: Two daughters: LaDonia (Dean) Kyle, Whitewater, WI and Mary (Carson) Wackershauser, Lancaster, WI, Grandchildren: Brian, Laura, and Jennifer Wackershauser, Dawn (Greg) Hockerman, and Elaine (Rodney) Schultz, 7 great grandchildren and two sisters: Yvonne Thorp, Milton, WI and Delores (Del) Maass, Watertown, WI. Audrey was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Martin, and a brother Gordon Marquart. Funeral Services will be held Friday, March 22, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the First English Lutheran Church, ,Whitewater,WI 53190 with Rev. Steven Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery, Town of Richmond, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10AM on Friday, March 22, 2013 at the First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater, Wisconsin until the time of the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, WI is assisting the family.
