Obituary of Margaret G. Smith

Margaret G. Smith, age 90, of Cambridge, Wisconsin passed away on Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at the Rainbow Hospice Inpatient Facility in Johnson Creek, WI. Margaret was born in Harvard, Illinois on January 10, 1923, the daughter of Charles and Vera (Vereche) Claeyssens. On March 17, 1967, Margaret married George W. Smith at the Brooke Road United Methodist Church. George preceded her in death on June 3, 2001. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper and office clerk for Gypsum Supply Company in Madison, Wisconsin for many years. She was a member of Willerup United Methodist Church in Cambridge and the Eastern Star. Surviving are her children: Charles Twigg, Cleveland, TN, David (Pam) Smith, Rockford, IL, Connie James, Rockford, IL, Bob (Annie) Smith, Pennsylvania, Nancy (Gerald) Egli, Pennsylvania, and Barb (Larry) Sietl, Pennsylvania, Two Sisters: Gabrielle Geeser, Rockford, IL, and Bernice Gage, Rockford, IL. She is further survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at 11:00AM at the Willerup United Methodist Church, Cambridge, WI with Rev. Brian Cook officiating. Interment will be in the Willerup Methodist Cemetery, Cambridge, WI. Friends may call after 10:00AM on Saturday, March 30, 2013 at the church until the time of the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Cambridge, WI is assisting the family.
