Obituary of Patrick Wayne Powell

Patrick Wayne Powell, age 57,of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2013 at St. Mary's Hospital in Madison, WI. Patrick was born on March 15, 1956 in, Hartford, WI, to Leland and Sophia (Jaskowiak) Powell. He graduated from Washington High School in Germantown, WI in 1974. On May 28, 1998 he married Linda Kaempf in Milwaukee, WI. Patrick worked for Harley Davidson for many years, and most recently for Spacesaver Corp. in Fort Atkinson. Being very proud of his family, he developed and designed a family website, which meant a lot to him and his family: all-thepowells.com. He enjoyed riding motorcycles, golfing, computers, and loved spending time with family. Surviving are his wife, Linda M. Powell, Fort Atkinson; daughter: Alexandria (Christie) Powell, Milwaukee; son: Jeffery (Malissa) Ryan, Watertown; daughter: Amy (Darrell) Ryan, Watertown; 3 grandchildren: Vannessa, Kelsey, and Ande'ja; 10 siblings: Bob (Aileen) Powell, Everett (Jane) Powell, John (Sherry) Powell, LeeAnne Miller, Jerome Powell, Janine (Dave) Menden, Bryan Powell, Ted Powell, Paula ( Mark) Jensen, and Mary Jo (Jim) Schleis; sister-in-law: Karen Kaempf; mother-in-law: Alma Kaempf, special cousins: Dave & Linda Nielsen; many nephews, nieces, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Patrick was preceded in death by his parents, and 2 brothers-in-law: Timothy Miller, and Daryl Kaempf. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2013 at 6:00pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel in Fort Atkinson. Visitation will be from 3pm until the time of service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family would like to give all memorials to the Downs Syndrome Society in honor of Patrick's granddaughter, Ande'ja.
