Obituary of Amy Bilstad Krause

Amy Bilstad Krause, age 58, passed away on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at Agrace HospiceCare in Fitchburg, WI. Amy was born on April 25, 1954 in Fort Atkinson, the daughter of Rollin and Doris (Swain) Bilstad. She graduated from Cambridge High School in 1972. On May 14, 1988 Amy married Steve Krause. She worked for over 30 years as an I.T. Manager for American Family Insurance Company in Madison, WI before retiring in 2012. Amy was a member of the Lake Ripley Country Club in Cambridge. She enjoyed golfing and gardening and loved to entertain family and friends. Amy never met a dog she didn't love and will be especially missed by Eddie. Surviving are husband: Steve Krause, Cambridge, WI, Two Sons: Lukas Krause, Lisle, IL, and Casey Krause, Cambridge, WI, Mother: Doris Bilstad, Cambridge, WI, Sister: Gail (Gerry) Hebert, Bala Cynwyd, PA, and Brother: Brian (Susanne) Bilstad, Madison, WI. She is further survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Amy was preceded in death by her father Rollin and brother Bradley. Funeral service will be at Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 208 N. Park St., Cambridge, WI at 11:00 AM, Monday, April 15, 2013. Burial will be in the Lake Ripley Cemetery. Friends may call from 1-4PM on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, Cambridge, WI.
