Obituary of Bernice Eloise Bittner

Bernice Bittner, age 93,of Whitewater, WI passed away on Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Fairhaven in Whitewater. Bernice was born in Whitewater to Carl and Ida ( Holtz ) Kreger on August 22,1919. She Married Harold (Dick) Bittner on February 25, 1939 in Delavan, Dick preceded her in death on July 13,1965. Bernice enjoyed gardening and embroidering and was a life long member of First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater . Surviving are:daughters Bonnie (Charles) Boelkow; Sandra (Jerry)Footit both of Whitewater; 10 grandchildren: Robert (Colleen) Boelkow, Randy (Michele) Boelkow, Charles (Donna) Boelkow,Jr., Rebecca (Michael) Matteson, David (Lynn) Meske, Donald Meske, Tami (Ronald) Schultz, Timothy Footit, Kimberly (Gary) Ramsden, Wendi (Henry) Gobel; 18 great grandchildren. Bernice was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Barbara Jacobson. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday April 27 at The Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 North Newcomb St., Whitewater WI., with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Burial will be in the Richmond Cemetery, Town of Richmond, Wisconsin. Visitation will be at the Nitardy Funeral Home on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until time of services.
