Obituary of Barbara Elaine Deck

Barbara Elaine Deck, age 88, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, April 22, 2013 at her home. Barbara was born in Delavan, Wisconsin on June 13, 1924, the daughter of Frank and Grace (McLaughlin) Underhill. She graduated from Delavan High School. On June 9, 1945, Barbara married Lester Joseph Deck. Barbara was a homemaker who loved to cook. Her hobbies included collecting cookbooks and ceramics. Surviving are: Her husband: Lester Deck, Fort Atkinson, WI and Children: Sheila Denzin and James A. Deck, both of Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Dawn Denzin, Phoenix, AZ and Darren (Kersten) Denzin, Madison, WI, and nieces and nephews. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Vivian Stone, Marjorie Bowers, and Hazel Weymouth, and brothers: Merle and Darryl Underhill. Family Graveside Services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, WI. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a Memorial to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson, WI.
