Obituary of Daniel Ralph Arndt

Daniel Ralph Arndt, age 58, of Fort Atkinson, WI, passed away on Saturday, April 27, 2013 at his home. Daniel was born on February 19, 1955 in Fort Atkinson, WI, to Harry and Marjorie (Jelinek) Arndt. He graduated from Lakeside Lutheran High School in 1973. On May 10, 1975 he married Janice Satterlee at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson. Dan was a rural route mail carrier, who loved his work and took great pride in his job. He enjoyed playing Sheepshead, singing in church, and spending time with his family. Surviving are his wife: Janice Arndt, Fort Atkinson, WI; son: Jacob Arndt, Janesville, WI; daughter: Erin Arndt, New Jersey; two brothers: Lawrence (Jackie) Arndt, Watertown, WI and Lee (Sharon) Arndt, FL; father- and mother-in-law John (Joyce) Satterlee, Fort Atkinson, WI; four brother-in-laws: Lee (Kim) Satterlee, Bruce (Jennifer) Satterlee, Barry (Debbie) Satterlee, and David Satterlee, all of Fort Atkinson, WI; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 11:00 am at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church with Rev. Michael Duncan and Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church from 4:30 pm�7:30 pm and on Wednesday from 10:00 am until the time of service at the church. Burial will be held at a later date in the Hebron Cemetery. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, Rainbow Hospice, Inc., or Wisconsin Lutheran Institutional Ministries. Revelation 7:16,17� Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat upon them, nor any scorching heat. For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.
