Obituary of Alice G. Parrilli

Alice G Parrilli, age 100, of Whitewater, WI was born to eternal life on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Alden Estates of Countryside, Jefferson, WI. Alice was born on March 9, 1913 in New London, WI to Joseph and Clara (Jarek) Naparalla. She graduated from New London High School in 1931 and from the Cook County School of Nursing in 1939. On June 1, 1940 Alice married Dr. Samuel D. Parrilli at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Shawano, WI. She worked alongside Samuel as a receptionist and nurse at his practice in Blue Island, Ill before Samuel served in WWII and after the war until Samuel's death in 1984. Alice moved to Shawano shortly afterward for retirement where she was active in the senior center and playing cards. She was a very social person who made a lasting impression on everyone she met. Eight years ago she moved to Mulberry Glen Independent Living in Whitewater, WI. She met many wonderful people and enjoyed their companionship and senior activities. Alice is the beloved mother of Mary (James) Jankowski, Fort Atkinson, Grandmother of Joseph(Amy) Jankowski, Royston, GA, Michelle(Dan) Roloff, Fort Atkinson, Sharon (Aaron) Krzewinski, Green Bay, WI, Great Grandmother of eight and Sister-in-law to Angello(Camille) Parrilli of Chicago, Il and Pat Suero of Berwyn, Il. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Dr. Samuel Parrilli. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Fort Atkinson, WI on Monday evening, May 6, 2013 at 7pm. Internment will take place on Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at 10am at the Queen of Heaven Catholic Cemetery in Hillside, Il. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Rainbow Hospice of Jefferson and Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. The family would like to thank Dr. Jeffrey McGuire, Fort Health ICU and Alden Estates for their outstanding care. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI is assisting the family.
