Obituary of Joseph Matushinec Junior

Joseph Junior Matushinec, age 83, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013 at his home. Joseph was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on November 12, 1929, the son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Hansler) Matushinec. Joseph graduated from Boys Tech and attended 5 years of trade school. Joseph served his country in the U.S. Navy on the USS Missouri from 1947 until 1951. On June 21, 1952, Joseph married Rose Marie Nickel. Joseph worked for Allis Chalmers from 1959 until his retirement in 1986. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening. Surviving are: Wife - Rose Marie Matushinec, Fort Atkinson, WI, Children: Michelle (Gerald) Dinolfo, Pewaukee, WI, Michael (Susan) Matushinec, Phoenix, AZ, Patrick Matushinec, Pewaukee, WI, and Patricia (Richard) Marx, Fort Atkinson, WI, Grandchildren: Leon Carroll, Amy (Toby) Johnson, Richard (Tanya) Marx, Gerard Dinolfo, Rebecca Marx, Jason (Jennifer) Dinolfo, Adam (Melissa) Matushinec, Sarah Matushinec, Craig Dinolfo, Andrew Marx, Eric Matushinec, and Tara Matushinec, Great-grandchildren: Jordan, MacKanzie, Caleb, Izabella, Alexander, Kaytlyn, Chloe, Kaleb, Braden, Mia, Amara, and Finley. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents. A visitation will be held from 4-7PM on Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson, WI with Military Services to be held at 6PM.
