Being a relative of Henry Janes who was the first to settle Janesville, was often the topic of conversation. The city of Janesville was also named for Henry Janes. Memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice. It was because of the wonderful care they gave Doris during her declining years that she was able to stay in her home until she passed.
