Obituary of Steven P. Kincaid

Steven P Kincaid, 69 of Whitewater, passed away on Wednesday, July 3rd, 2013 at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital surrounded by his family. Steve was a lifelong resident of Whitewater and Fort Atkinson. He was born at Edgerton Hospital, on April 16th, 1944, the Son of Peter and Catherine (McCarthy) Kincaid of Whitewater. Following High School, Steve joined the Wisconsin National Guard and put in 30 years of dedicated service with the National Guard. Received Honorable Discharge and retired Sergeant First Class (E7) in 2004. Steve enjoyed hunting, car races, working on and driving cars and spending time with his family and friends. Steve is survived by his two Sons Steve W (Melissa) Kincaid and their two children Rowan and Declan of Baraboo; Daniel (Debra) Kincaid of Fort Atkinson and Daughter Samantha Conway (Dallas Ziebell) of Shorewood; Fianc�e Charlene Klemp of Fort Atkinson and her two daughters Karrie (Kenny Reed) of Buckeye, AZ; Heather (Chris) Gehrt and their two children Alyssa and Trevor of Wisconsin Rapids; Sister Anita (Kincaid) Luebke of Whitewater, nieces, other relatives and friends. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, beloved dog Cheyenne and brother in law: Bud Luebke. A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church in Fort Atkinson with Military Funeral Honors, Friday July 12th Eleven O�clock, Friends can come pay their respects from Ten O�clock to time of service. A Family burial at Cold Spring Union Cemetery will be at a later time. If friends desire memorials may be made in Steve�s name to woundedwarriorproject.org, doctorswithoutborders.org or the Humane Society of Jefferson County www.hsjc-wis.com/ in lieu of flowers. The Family would like to thank the Doctors and Nurses at Fort Atkinson Memorial Hospital Palliative Care Unit for the care and support that was given during his last hours.
