Obituary of Ernest Lee Punzel

Ernest Lee Punzel, age 72, of Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, August 15, 2013 at his home. Ernest was born in the Town of Hebron, Wisconsin on February 23, 1941 the son of August and Helen (Meyer) Punzel. Ernest served his county in the US Army from 1966 until 1968. He worked at Premier Bank for seven years before retiring in 2003. Surviving are: Wife: Bonnie Punzel, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: Christine Punzel, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: David Punzel, Milwaukee, WI, Granddaughter: Laura Dohman, Milwaukee, WI, Sisters: Rosemary Wegner, Whitewater, WI and Patsy Snodie, Fort Atkinson, WI, Brother: Emil Punzel, Jefferson, WI, Half Sister: Evelyn Flemal, Jefferson, WI, Former Wife: Barbara Hammons, Milwaukee, WI, and his cat Snickers. Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, and his siblings. Per Ernest's wishes, no formal services will be held.
