Obituary of Steven Dale Heth

Steven Dale Heth of rural Whitewater slipped the bonds of his earthly body on September 18, 2013 surrounded by the love of his family. He was born on 11/22/59 to Dale and Betty Heth of rural Whitewater. He married Valerie Kardack on April 12, 1980 at the First English Lutheran Church. His daughter, Monica Jean was born April 16, 1985. Steve began his postal career in 1982 as the custodian of the Whitewater Post Office and ended his career of 26 years by retiring in July 2009 as the Postmaster of Twin Lakes, WI. He enjoyed fishing, family, farming and remodeling homes. Steve was present and delivered the toast at his daughter�s wedding in the orchard of his farm on Saturday, September 14 to Andrew Schwarm of Chicago, IL. Steve was a great planner and his advice to his daughter and new son-in-law was to �plan for the future but enjoy each and every day because it is the little things that make life worth living�. Steve was a wonderful man, father, son and husband and will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held Sunday September 22, 2013 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Nitardy Funeral Home, 550 Newcomb St., Whitewater, WI 53190 There will be a memorial service at 3:00 p.m. Memorials may be made to the Whitewater Food Pantry.
