Obituary of Michael Leon Malek

Michael Leon Malek, age 57, of Whitewater, died on Wednesday, September 25, 2013 at his home. Michael was born on May 5, 1956 in Milwaukee, WI to Alexander and Mary (Neurerer) Malek. He graduated from Watertown High School and received a bachelor's degree in public relations from UW-Whitewater. Mike married Kari Bohlssen on October 21, 1995 in Oshkosh, WI. He was employed by Provisur of Whitewater in their sales department. Mike enjoyed camping, golfing and the Green Bay Packers. He was a member of the Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater, WI. Mike is survived by his wife, Kari and his children, Kyle Norton and Sarah Malek of Whitewater, Mother, Mary Lehmann of Waterloo and Sister, Wendy Henning of Madison. He was preceded in death by his father. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 3pm at the Congregational United Church of Christ, Whitewater. Friends may call at the church from 1pm until the time of the service. Nitardy Funeral Home is assisting the family.
