Obituary of Carl C. Henry

Carl C Henry, age 79, of Janesville, Wisconsin, died on Friday, September 27, 2013 at Mercy Health Care. Carl was born on August 29, 1934 in Rochester, Minnesota to Carlton and Nova (Steinback) Henry. He served his country in the Navy, becoming a Sea Bee in the early 1960's and later served in the reserves. Carl worked for over 39 years in the public utilites. Boating was always his passion. Carl was the youngest Master Mason of the Whitewater Masonic Lodge. He was also a working Jaycee member of the Whitewater club. Carl was a member of First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater. He is survived by his wife, of 29 years, Yvonne "Bonnie" Oldenburg Henry, His three Sons; Craig, Bart and Joel (Sheryl) Henry, Step-Children; Steven (Diedre), Lezlie and Scott (Lori) Oldenburg, Grandchildren; Natalie Schultz-Henry, Chrystina (Jay) Schroeder, Carlton and Allison Henry, Step-Grandchildren; Jessica (Kelby) Cuevas, Roberta (Brett) Morschauser, Adam (Micki) Oldenburg, Andrew and Ariana Oldenburg, Great-Grandchild, Mason Oldenburg, Sisters; Anne Avery of California and Ruth Grimes of Waunakee, WI. Carl raised his family with Joyce Henry Kiger. Carl was preceded in death by his son, Scott and grandson, Mitchell, two sisters and one brother. A private Masonic service will be held at the St. John Masonic Lodge 57, Whitewater in the near future. The family has requested any memorials be given to St. John Masonic Lodge 57 in Carl C. Henry's name. The family would like to thank the staff at Mercy Health Care and Agrace Hospice for their loving care. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater is assisting the family.
