Obituary of Linda Marie Bleck

Linda Bleck, age 55 of Whitewater, WI, passed away on Friday, September 27, 2013 at her home. She was born on January 16, 1958, in Flint, MI to Robert and Shirley (Scott) Florine. She married Ron Bleck on July 9, 1983. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater. Linda graduated from Carman High School in Flint and then received her degree in Mathematics-Education from Central Michigan University. Linda taught for one year in Michigan and one year in Illinois until she settled down in 1982 and taught for 30 years at Whitewater High School where she taught math, primarily Geometry, among other math classes. However, she was much more than just a math teacher. She was involved in the planning committee that designed the new high school, coached basketball and track, was a class adviser and led the planning of numerous Prom and Homecoming activities. When not spending time at school, she enjoyed reading, scrapbooking, traveling, spending time outdoors and working sporting events at the high school. However, she enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and watching her two boys grow up and play sports. Linda is survived by her husband Ron, sons Aaron (Erin) of Janesville, Jason (Leanne) of Watertown, parents Robert and Shirley Florine of Flint, MI, brother David (Sharon) Florine of Hickory, NC, and sister Beth Florine of Flint, MI, as well as many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her brothers Robert Florine and Bruce Florine. Visitation will be Monday, September 30th at Nitardy Funeral Home in Whitewater from 4-7PM and after 9:30AM on Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at the First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater, WI. Funeral services will be held at 11AM on Tuesday, October 1st at First English Lutheran Church 417 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI with Pastor Steve Hanson officiating. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater is assisting the family
