Gloria V. Wood, age 85, formerly of Fort Atkinson passed away in Watertown, WI on October 4, 2013. She was born September 1, 1928 in Fairchild, WI the daughter of Ernest and Elizabeth (Britton) Collins. Gloria married Levis Wood on August 4, 1945. She worked at Heale Manufacturing in Waukesha. WI until her retirement. She is survived by her 3 daughters: Virginia (Daniel) Zander of Fort Atkinson Rosaline (Donald) Brown of Webster Groves, MO Pamela (Albert) Wempe of Watertown, WI 6 Grandchildren: Joann Zander, Donald (Sandra) Zander, Gail Zander, Michael King Sr., Kimberly Wempe, and Nicole Wempe 2 Great Grandchildren: Ashley and Michael Jr. 1 Great Great Grandchild: Elliana Sister: Orpha Grossman of Deerfield, WI Gloria was preceded in death by her husband in 1997, 10 Siblings: Otis, William, Paul, Calvin, Ernest, Arthur, Iva, Gladys, Lillian, and Alice. A Memorial Service will be held at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, October 8, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home. Friends may call from 3:00 PM until the time of service at the funeral home.
