Obituary of Melissa Jeanne Patrick

Melissa Jeanne Patrick, age 40, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Sunday, October 13, 2013 as a result of an automobile accident in the Town of Whitewater, Wisconsin. Melissa was born in Atlanta, Georgia on October 1, 1973 the daughter of James Heaton and Linda (Tucker)Heaton. She graduated from Whitewater High School in 1992. On October 5, 1996, Melissa married Ralph Patrick. Melissa worked at the Holiday Inn Express in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. She was a full time student studying Psychology at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Melissa's children were everything to her. She loved life and people, and loved to sing. Surviving are: Her Children: Josh and Abby, Mother: Linda (Leon Price) Schmidt, Whitewater, WI, Father: Dan Heaton, North Carolina, Step-Father: David Schmidt, Muskego, WI, Sisters:Tanya (Grant Brown) Scherer, Whitewater, WI, Theresa Schmidt, Madison, WI, Lillian (Walter Williams) Heaton, Raleigh, NC, and Tabatha (Robbie) Joyner, Nashville, NC, The Father of Her Children: Ralph Patrick, Whitewater, WI, Grandmother: Lois (Gene Sullivan) Tucker, Jefferson, WI, and Nephews and Nieces: Daniel Lindsey, Katie Scherer, Emily Scherer, and Lucas Scherer. She is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends to numerous to mention. Melissa was preceded in death by her grandfather Mel Tucker. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, October 19, 2013, at 12:00 PM at the First English Lutheran Church 401 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Friends may call after 9AM on Saturday, October 19, 2013 at the church until the time of the services.
