Obituary of Maxine Mae Allbee

Maxine Mae Allbee, age 91, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, October 31, 2013, at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Maxine was born in the Town of Oakland, Wisconsin on September 9, 1922, the daughter of Frank and Josephine (Mengsol) Rusch. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School. On November 5, 1941, Maxine married Wayne W. Allbee in Fort Atkinson, WI. Wayne preceded her in death on July 5, 1995. Maxine was a longtime Fort Atkinson resident prior to moving to Fond du Lac in 2012 to be closer to her family. Maxine was a member of St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Fort Atkinson and a member of the DAV. Surviving are: Two Daughters: Mary (David) Nell, Fond du Lac, WI and Patricia DeMario, Grandchildren: Amy (Shawn) Herkstroeter, Fond du Lac, WI, Penny (David) Mielke, Inver Grove Heights, MN, Martin (Jenny) Nell, Fond du Lac, WI, Lisa, Tony, and Lynette, Great-grandchildren: Megan, Mason, Trenton, Zachary, Madylin, Connor, Casey, Carson, and Lindsey. Maxine was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a brother Carl Rusch, and a sister Frances Eustis. Funeral Services will be held Sunday, November 3, 2013, at 3:00 PM at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church, 301 S. High Street, Fort Atkinson,WI with Rev. Michael Duncan and Rev. Paul Scharrer officiating. Burial will be in the East Koshkonong Lutheran Cemetery, Town of Christiana, Wisconsin with Rev. James Borgwardt officiating. Friends may call after 2:00PM on Sunday, November 3, 2013 at the church until the time of the services. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to St. Paul's Ev.
