Obituary of Earl Julius Lehman

Earl "Buster" Julius Lehman, age 83, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, November 25, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Earl was born in the Town of Sumner, Wisconsin on February 14, 1930, the son of Edwin and Olga (Olson) Lehman. At 17 Earl joined the Marine Corps where he served as a mechanical engineer. After his time in the service, Earl drove dump truck for a period of time before for becoming a truck driver for Quality Carriers of Bristol, WI, eventually retiring in 1992. At a young age Earl married Patricia Caylor. After their divorce, he married Helen Mae Schueler in Dec 1958. Helen preceded him in death on January 10, 2002. On October 19, 2004, Earl married Patricia Granzow. Earl enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending winters in Alabama. Surviving are: Wife: Patricia Granzow, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter:Janice (Debra) Plummer, Park City, UT, Step Daughter: Gail (David) Cartwright, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: LaCindy Stull, Johnson Creek, WI, Son: Edwin (Sharon Prust) Lehman, Fort Atkinson, WI, Daughter: Christine (Ed) Baker, Milton, WI, Daughter: Vickie (Eric) Kiernan, Fort Atkinson, WI, Son: Earl (Tatyana) Lehman Jr, Janesville, WI, Son: David (Patricia) Lehman, Fort Atkinson, WI, Step Daughter: Kathleen (Scott) Hein, Fort Atkinson, WI, Step Daughter: Sandra Lehman, Fort Atkinson, WI, Step Son: Keith (Dawn) Habeck, Fort Atkinson, WI, and Step Son: Dennis (Holly Junker) Dummer, Jefferson, WI, Thirty-four grandchildren, Forty-four great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Earl was preceded in death by his parents, a step son Marc Lehman, a brother Raymond Lehman in WWII, and three sisters: Irma Lehman, Marian Tipton, and Ilene Lehman. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, November 30, 2013, at 11:00 AM at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call after 10AM on Saturday at the Nitardy Funeral Home, Fort Atkinson until the time of the services.
