Obituary of Margaret McIntyre Sutherland

Margaret McIntyre Sutherland, age 93, passed away on Tuesday, November 26, 2013 at the Liberty Manor in Adams, Wisconsin. Margaret was born on April 20, 1920 in Whitewater, Wisconsin, the daughter of John and Hazel (McIntyre) Blumer. She married the love of her life, Floyd Sutherland, on December 16, 1939 in Whitewater, WI. They were blessed with 7 children. Margaret was married to Floyd for 59 years until his death in 1999. She helped her husband on the farm and also worked out of the home at several factories. Margaret enjoyed doing crafts, playing bingo, circling words and spending time with her family. Surviving are: 3 sons; Gary (Margaret), Kent (Kim), of Milton, Dale (Mary), of Mindoro, 3 daughters; Sandra(Dick) Rogers, of Hancock, Amoret (Jim) Larsen, of Janesville, Kay (Bob) Ostram, South Carolina, and daughter-in-law; Kathy Sutherland, Minnesota. She had 21 grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren, 16 great-great grandchildren, and 5 step grandchildren. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd, son, Stanley Sutherland, and four grandchildren. Funeral service will be held on Monday, December 2, 2013 at the Milton Congregational Church, Milton, WI, at 1pm. Visitation will be from 11am until the time of service at the church. Burial will take place at the Richmond Cemetery. Margaret's family would like to thank the entire staff at Liberty Manor and the hospice nursing staff for all of their wonderful care.
