Obituary of Ann Marie Kraus

Ann Marie Kraus, age 46, of Whitewater passed away on Saturday, November 30, 2013 at St. Mary�s Hospital in Madison. She was born July 7, 1967 in Fort Atkinson the daughter of Merwyn �Mert� and Mary Ann (Krause) Higgins. Ann was a 1985 graduate of Whitewater High School and continued her education at MATC. She was employed as the reservationist at UW-Whitewater in the University Center. Ann married Ted Kraus on October 7, 1989. Together with Ted and her pride and joy: Joe and Kevin, she enjoyed many family trips. Ann put her family first and had a gift of finding the best in the people she met. She was a member of First English Lutheran Church.   Survivors include her husband Ted. Two Sons: Corporal Joseph T. Kraus of Camp Pendleton, Oceanside, CA Kevin J. Kraus of Whitewater Mother: Mary Higgins of Whitewater 2 brothers: Rex (Denise) Higgins of Janesville Mike (Jody) Higgins of Whitewater Sister: Kristy (Dan) Malone of Whitewater She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. Ann was preceded in death by her father. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, December 7, 2013 at First English Lutheran Church in Whitewater with Pastor Steve Hanson officiating. Burial will be in the Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, WI. Friends may call on Friday, December 6, 2013 from 4-8 PM at the Nitardy Funeral Home in Whitewater, and also after 1:00 PM on Saturday at church until the time of the services.
