Obituary of Joseph Michael Haluska

Joseph Michael Haluska, age 65, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, December 12, 2013 at his home. Joe was born in Racine, Wisconsin on November 16, 1948, the son of Joseph and Lorene (Younts) Haluska. He graduated from Park High School in 1967 and from the University of Wisconsin -Whitewater in December of 1971. On January 23, 1971, Joe married Beverly A. Shaffer in South Holland, Illinois. He worked as Customer Service/Supply Chain Manager for Brunk Industries, Lake Geneva, WI and was looking forward to retirement in January 2014. Joe enjoyed golfing, travel, blues music and was an avid Badger Basketball and Green Bay Packers fan. Surviving are: Wife: Beverly A. Haluska, Children: Alison (Bob) Head, Marcus (Angela) Haluska, and Michael Haluska, Two grandchildren: Tyler and Alec Head, Sister: Dottie Scharlau, Germany, Brother: Curtis (Barb) Haluska, Middleton, WI, Mother-in-law: Florence Shaffer, Nieces and Nephews: TJ & Nick Haluska, Daniel Scharlau and Irina Schreiwer and many relatives and good friends. Visitation will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013, from 4PM to 6PM at the Nitardy Funeral Homes - 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI, followed by the funeral service at 6PM with Rev.
