Obituary of Everett Fulton

Dr. Everett Fulton, age 87 of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 in his sleep at The Glen in Whitewater, Wisconsin. Everett was born on February 14, 1926 in Eugene, Oregon, the first son of Rev. E.J. and Pauline (Smyly) Fulton. He graduated from Eugene High School and went on to be awarded a BS, MS, and PHD from various universities. Everett served in the US Navy as an officer during WWII. On August 28, 1949, Everett married his wife Catherine. Everett and Catherine came to Wisconsin in 1966, where he taught religious studies, and was the Dean of Letters and Sciences for many years. He retired in 1988 and moved with his wife to Lakeland, Florida until her death in 2011. At that time he returned to Whitewater to be closer to his daughter Lisa. Surviving are: His Children: Lisa (Frank) Taylor, Whitewater, WI, and Reed Fulton, Tampa, FL, Daughter-in-Law: Julie Fulton, Tampa, FL, Brother: David (Amy) Fulton, Bellvue, WA, Sister-in-law:- Junann Miller, Lakeland, FL, Grandchildren: Eric (Michelle) Taylor, Whitewater, WI, Adam Taylor, Chicago, IL, James (Melanie) Taylor, Whitewater, WI, Casiddy Fulton, Tampa, FL, and Nicholas Fulton, Tampa, FL, and Four Great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 5PM on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 550 N. Newcomb Street, Whitewater, WI with Pastor Don Norman officiating. Friends may call after 4PM on Saturday the the funeral home until the time of the services. The Nitardy Funeral Home, Whitewater, Wisconsin is assisting the family.
