Obituary of Evelyn Adeline Hagedorn

Evelyn Adeline Hagedorn, age 89, of Jefferson, WI passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Evelyn was born in Rome, Wisconsin on January 23, 1924, the daughter of Herman and Ida (Radiske) Hoefs. On November 21, 1942, Evelyn married Russel Hagedorn at St. Luke's Church in Rome, Wisconsin. Evelyn was a member of St. John's Ev. Lutheran Church in Jefferson, Wisconsin. She enjoyed reading and doing needlework. Surviving are: Daughter: Karen (Robert) Knuth, Fort Atkinson, WI, Two Granddaughters: Penny (David) Lecker and Shelli (Scott) Ellingson, and Four Great-grandchildren: Ashley (Kevin) Boushek, Zachary Lecker, Erin Lecker, and Luke Ellingson. Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Russel, a grandson Richard Knuth, and two brothers: Raymond and Harold Hoefs. Funeral Services will be held Monday, December 30, 2013, at 2:00 PM at the St. John's Lutheran Church, 232 E. Church Street, Jefferson, WI with Rev. Mark Bartsch officiating. Inurnment will be in the Christberg Cemetery, Town of Farmington, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 1PM on Monday, December 30, 2013 at the church until the time of the services.
