Jamie Graffin

Obituary of Jamie Lee Graffin

Jamie L. Graffin, 42, of Jefferson passed away on December 24, 2013 at University Wisconsin Hospital and Clinic after a long illness, surrounded by his family. He fought a courageous battle hoping to get well enough to receive an organ transplant. Jamie was born on October 27, 1971 in Stoughton, the son of David and Clarinda Graffin. He grew up in the Cambridge and Jefferson area. Jamie graduated from Jefferson High School in 1990 and he completed a carpenter apprenticeship. He worked mostly in the Milwaukee area as a Union Carpenter. He was employed by Findorff, Wall-Tech and KBS for several years. He also worked locally for J.B. construction and most recently for Generac. Jamie enjoyed Nascar, the Packers, Badgers and a foursome of golf with his family. But most of all he loved the family get- togethers and taking his Lab "Milo" for a ride and walk or just playing Frisbee or ball with him. Surviving are his parents: David and Clarinda Graffin of Jefferson; sister: Heather (Brandon) Palicki of Fort Atkinson; nephew: Blake; Niece: Scarlet and soon to be baby Palicki; god parents: Karen and Wayne Simmons; several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Armand and Geneva Graffin and Frank and Edna Howe, his uncles Dale Graffin and Jerry Craft. A memorial visitation will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2014 from 2-4pm at the Nitardy Funeral Home Cambridge, 208 North Park St. Cambridge, WI 53523.
