Obituary of Harvey Stephen Badura

Harvey Stephen Badura Harvey passed away on December 24, 2013 with his loving family by his side at The Blackhawk Senior Residence.He was born on April 11, 1922 to Stephen and Cora (Strempkowski) Badura in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Harvey served in the U.S. Marines from 1942 to 1945 as a Master Sergeant, and was a very proud Marine. On November 22, 1946 he married Irene Punzel. Harvey worked for Thomas Industries, Modern Machine & Tool, and Norland Associates where Harvey did the entire prototype building job on the General Electric Bone Mineral Analyzer and several ECG devices. He then worked for Jamesway Butler until retirement. Harvey and Irene enjoyed spending time with all their family and friends. He enjoyed playing bingo, the slots, and lottery. Harvey enjoyed watching the Packers, Brewers, and Badgers. He also enjoyed watching old movies and war commentaries. Harvey will be dearly missed forever. Harvey is survived by his children: Terry (Pam) Badura, Peggy (Bill) Peterson, Jean and Sheila Badura all of Fort Atkinson, WI. Grandchildren: Steven (April) Stackle of New York, Jason (Lisa) Badura, Stacey (Greg) Riddell, Lori (Adam) Skaar, Jennifer Badura, and Casey (Jodi) Badura. Great-grandchildren: Ethan and Joey Skaar, Braeden Hoth and Nathan Riddell, Taylor Kyle and Haiden Badura, and Evan and Wyatt Stackle,�and other relatives and friends. Harvey was preceded in death by his wife Irene May 3rd, 2001, and two grandsons. A funeral service will be held at 11am on Monday, December 30th, 2013 at the Nitardy Funeral Home Chapel, 1008 Madison Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI. Friends may call from 9am until time of services. Burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery with military honors. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to Rainbow Hospice or the Humane Society of Jefferson County. The family would like to give a very special thank you to the Blackhawk Senior Residence staff for all their kind care.
