Obituary of Joan Marie Anderson

Joan Marie Anderson, 75, of Cambridge, WI, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 6th, surrounded by more love than her room could hold. Joan was born to George(Judd) and Mary Jane(Jane) Binkert on March 2, 1938 and graduated from Cambridge High School before receiving her RN degree from St. Mary�s School of Nursing and continuing on to practice nursing for more than 30 years between the states of Florida and Wisconsin. Joan worked in all facets of nursing, beginning her career with helping the mentally ill before moving to Florida and working for the Public Health System, in clinics, schools and hurricane shelters. She returned to Wisconsin in 1988 and worked for Physician�s Plus before until her retirement. Despite living in South Florida, Joan never stopped cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Wisconsin Badgers, and remained a faithful fan until her passing. Joan was preceded in death by her parents, Judd and Jane Binkert and her ex-husband, Larry Anderson. She is survived by her only child, Carrie Anderson, Cambridge, sister, Judith Berger, Winter, WI, niece, Carol Berger, Black Earth, WI and nephews, James Berger, Edgerton, WI and John Berger, Oshkosh, WI. Services will be held at the Nitardy Funeral Home in Cambridge, WI at 11AM on Friday, January 10, 2014 with Father Tom Coyle officiating. Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at the Nitardy Funeral Home in Cambridge, WI from 5-7PM and after 10AM on Friday, January 10, 2014 until the time of the services. Joan believed in sharing as much of her life as she could and donated to many charities. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice if you so choose.
