Great grandma Lu has left nothing but positivity for me to remember. Every time we would visit she would tell her stories that had the best messages to them. She always gave me and my brother vanilla wafer cookies every time we visited. This one time she pulled me and my mom into her back room, before she lived with Carol, and gave my mom a necklace and me a cross. This is not just any ordinary cross to me, this cross had roses on it. Her favorite song was The Rose, and my middle name is Rose. This made me feel closer to her then ever. She spoke all the time about god and how he has effected her life in so many ways. i never felt so close to god until she passed away. I prayed with the cross she gave me and i still do today. When i first heard she was in the hospital and we were going to see her, i was so crushed. i couldn't imagine life without her at the time. i still cant to this day, but i know shes in a better place with her husband and her family. Shes in my heart and always will be.

I wish I had known. I will miss her so much. She was truly one in a million. I will think of her often. I called her my second mom because mine is so far away . She was always bringing us ice cream bars in the summer to stay cool.

Whoever said that a person is judged by what they leave behind must have been thinking of Lu Majewski. There was never a time that I remember that she did not share kind words with me and have me leaving the encounter with a smile. How fortunate you are to know that as she sits next to our Lord and they look down upon her legacy, his words to her are, "job well done". Indeed. George Polk

Your mom was very special to me as well as a good friend and coworker of my mom. My prayers and thoughts are with you! The world has lost an angel however God has gained a precious one! May your memories get you through the tough times! Love, Cindee Michael Llewellyn

To the Majewski family, I believe the first time I met your Mom. Lu, when I was a patient of Drs Moritz & Nicholes at their office on N Third St, It was right after I was injured in a car accident in 1971, Lu was so concerned about me and asked what happened. I told her and from then on we friends. I was at the office quit a bit and she always had a smile and kind word for me. Always friendly and a wonderful person. Later I met her family and actually worked with Mike at the Post Office for several years. Jim was a customer at the post office. I knew Paul, he was a neighbor and his two children were to my house a lot to play with my two kids. Eventually I met the whole family. I haven't seen Lu for several years and I often thought of her over the years. She is in my thoughts and prayers and of all you are to. My heartfelt sympathy to all of you. May she be at peace
with THE LORD! She will be missed by everyone who knew her.
To all her children, grand children and great grand children and relatives and friends,
My wife, Judy and I offer prayers and deepest sympathy. May God Bless all of you"

I want you to know how sorry I am to see that two of my favorite people (Jim and Mike) lost their wonderful mother. Far too many years ago Jim and Mike asked me to join their family for Jim's party after he whipped me in the city golf tournament. It was then I met their mother to clearly discover just who was in charge of all family matters. Ha! What a wonderful wonderful woman! Guys, I know what it feels like to lose a loving mother, so I share your sorrows. Just know that she is now at peace and in the hands of our loving father. May God ease your pain and give you loving peace. Don Girton
