Obituary of Russell Claude Fero

Russell Claude Fero, 81, of Whitewater, Wisconsin passed away on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at Fairhaven Senior Living in Whitewater, WI. Russell was born on September 28, 1932 in Lima Center, WI to Claude and Dorothy (Matzke) Fero. Russell graduated from Whitewater High School. On April 10, 1954, Russell married Enid Sietz in DuBuQue, Iowa. He worked for 10 years as a carpenter for Marquardt Builders and then worked for over 29 years for the City of Whitewater Parks and Recreation, retiring in 1995. Russell enjoyed woodworking, old cars and arts and crafts. He is survived by his two sons; Jeffrey ( Jean) Fero of Sussex, WI and James(Jackie) Fero of Whitewater, Grandchildren; Lyndley Fero, Fort Atkinson, Jessica Fero, Whitewater, Andy (Carol) Fero, Menomonee Falls, WI, Jared (Lisa) Fero, West Allis, WI, Alison Fero, Sussex, WI., Great-Grandchildren; Jonathan Fero, Audrina Sauter and Maxwell Fero, Step-Grandchildren; Marissa and Robert, Step-Great-Grandchildren; Cade, Mason and Noah, Sister-in-law, Beverly Fero, Whitewater and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 1:00pm at First English Lutheran Church, Whitewater, WI with Rev. Jerald Wendt officiating. Burial will take place at Hillside Cemetery, Whitewater, WI. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday, February, 5, 2014 from 11:00am until the time of the service.
