Obituary of Norma Lynne Schwall

Norma Lynne Schwall, age 75, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Saturday, March 15, 2014 at her home. Norma was born in Somerset, Pennsylvania on December 19, 1938, the daughter of Charles W. and Olive Grace (Wilt) Combecker. Norma received her nursing degree from the Illinois Masonic Hospital and she worked as a hospital surgical registered nurse. On December 26, 1972, Norma married Richard "Dick" E. Schwall. Norma was a member St. Patrick Catholic Church in Whitewater and a member of the East Troy Lioness Club and was a past president of the State District Lioness Club. She enjoyed boating on the Mississippi River, flying in the family airplane, traveling to all corners of the world, golfing, bowling, and flowers. Surviving are: Husband: Richard "Dick" E. Schwall, Whitewater, WI: Children: Karen Lynne McGuire, Wonder Lake, IL, Karen Ann (Tom) Meyer, Westminster, CO, Karla (Tom) Gilles, Poynette, WI, Sharon Ann Bower, Greenville, WI, Kim (Todd) Seidl, Sun Prairie, WI, Richard "Bud" Schwall, Jr., Mukwonago, WI, and Matthew Schwall, Prescott, AZ, Grandchildren: Lindsay (Jacob) Clark, Shannon McGuire, Alicia Meyer, Ellen Meyer, Bradley Starks, Kyle Starks, Sara Bower, Hannah Bower, Kayleigh (Jon) Schmidt, and Nicholas Schwall, and Sister: Patricia Vickery, Lake Geneva, WI. Norma was preceded in death by her parents. A Mass Christian Burial will be held Friday, April 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick Catholic Church, 1225 W. Main Street, Whitewater, WI. Burial will be in the St. Peter's Catholic Cemetery, East Troy, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10AM on Friday, April 11, 2014 at the church until the time of the Mass. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Wisconsin Lion's Foundation or to the American Cancer Society. The Nitardy Funeral home, Whitewater is assisting the family.
