Obituary of Mildred Elizabeth Frame

Mildred Elizabeth Frame, age 102, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Monday, March 24, 2014 at the Alden Estates of Countryside in Jefferson, Wisconsin. Mildred was born in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin on December 13, 1911, the daughter of Sidney Leonard and Freda (Erdman) Rose. She graduated from Fort Atkinson High School in 1929 and attended Columbia Hospital School of Nursing. Mildred worked as a nursing assistant for the old Fort Atkinson Hospital and various health care agencies. On December 2, 1933, Mildred married Harold William Frame. Harold preceded her in death on September 7, 1982. Mildred was a member of the First Congregational United Church of Christ, Fort Atkinson where she served for 18 years as the President of Lend-a-Hand, taught Sunday School, served as President, and Vice-President of the Women's Fellowship, served on the Board of Trustees, and worked in the kitchen for various church activities. Surviving are: Two Sons: Sidney (Sandra) Frame, Lincoln, CA and Richard "Rich" (Linda Keene) Frame, Fort Atkinson, WI, Seven Grandchildren and Ten Great-grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister June Sletteland. Memorial Services will be held at�1PM on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the First Congregational United Church of Christ, 31 W. Milwaukee Ave., Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Chris Buckingham-Taylor officiating. A time of fellowship with dessert and coffee will follow the services in the church hall. Interment will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Those planning an expression of sympathy may wish to consider a memorial to the Radio Ministry of the First Congregational United Church of Christ.
