Obituary of Bernice Marie Moldenhauer

Bernice Marie Moldenhauer, age 96, of Fort Atkinson, WI passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2014 at the Golden Living Center in Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin. Bernice was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on December 12, 1917, the daughter of Matheus and Elizabeth (Berndt) Treffner.� On June 17, 1940, Bernice married Bennie H. Moldenhauer in Dubuque, Iowa.� Bennie preceded her in death on August 14, 2004. Bernice worked for Johnson Hill Press in Fort Atkinson, WI.� She was a member of Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, Fort Atkinson, WI and enjoyed gardening, reading and listening to the music of Daniel O'Donnell. Surviving are daughter Sharon (Robert) Jamsky of St. Simons Island, GA, numerous nieces and nephews, including Veronica (Larry) Smith of Watertown, WI, Barbara (Larry) Miller of Hayward, WI, Lee (Bonnie) Reukema, of Clam Lake, WI and Robert Doebert of Jefferson, WI, as well as special friends Jerome and Lesley Bobholz of Fort Atkinson, WI. Bernice was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Walter, and her sisters Ruth Walsh, Virginia Reukema, and Verona Lucky. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Bethany Ev. Lutheran Church, 404 Roosevelt Street, Fort Atkinson, WI with Rev. Ethan Steinbrenner and Rev. Steven Wilkens officiating.� Burial will be in the Rock Lake Cemetery, Lake Mills, Wisconsin. Friends may call after 10AM on Tuesday at the church until the start of the service at 11:00 AM.
