Obituary of Lenore May Grady

Lenore May Grady, age 82, of Whitewater, WI passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at her home. Lenore was born in Ohio on April 8, 1932, the daughter of Harry and Louise (Volendorf) Hartman. On October 13, 1951, Lenore married Allen C. Grady Sr. They lived in various Wisconsin cities, but resided for many years in Saukville, WI. While they lived in Stoughton, WI she worked as a clerk at the Asleson True Value Hardware Store. Lenore was a self-taught artist who enjoyed painting, but was also known to attended auctions and estate sales in her spare time. She attended the Congregational United Church of Christ in Whitewater. Surviving are: Husband: Allen C Grady, Sr., Whitewater, WI, Children: Annette (Butch) Wilber, Green Bay, WI, Daniel (Shannon) Grady, Grand Prairie, TX, Gordon (Janet) Grady, Stoughton, WI, Christopher (Lori) Grady, Whitewater, WI, Pamela (Jay) Weatherwax, South Bend, IN, and Allen (Lisa) Grady, Jr., McFarland, WI, Thirteen Grandchildren, and Five Great-grandchildren. Lenore was preceded in death by her parents, a son Patrick and a sister Mary. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, April 15, 2014, at 1:00 PM at the Congregational United Church of Christ, 130 S. Church Street, Whitewater, WI 53190 with Rev. Phil Milam officiating. A luncheon will follow the services in the church hall. Interment will be in the Union Cemetery, Saukville, Wisconsin at a later date. Friends may call after 12PM on Tuesday, April 15, 2014 at the church until the time of the services.
